- I've always impressed with the 'Unsolved Mysteries' T.V. Show, and the DVD sets are no exception, I am happy to say! Jam-packed with the best cases the show offered ( though I must admit, none I found badly done, or boring to begin with! ), and leaving you amazed at what usually goes unnoticed at times. Truly an interesting view of the Paranormal, Bizarre, and just plain Uncanny things which happen all around us!

Ghosts have always fascinated humans if only because they have offered the
possibility of finding out more about life on the other side. Spirit Orbs,
or Fiction?" is a pioneering work in this field and has been rated 93%
www.amazon.com. Put simply, spirit orbs are images of humans which can be
captured with camera. The writer takes the trouble of sharing how easily
spirit orbs can be easily confused with reflected light on camera and other
natural anomalies, however it made clear that spirit orbs images are
definitely different to some tricks of the light.
The many illustrations (98 colour photographs) offer, at least interesting
if not compelling evidence of this phenomena. Readers will be able to judge
for themselves what spirits orbs actually are. The author himself found
spirit orbs appeared more as he wrote the book and looking at the
illustrations one is struck by sheer personality which comes through in
certain images. Perhaps the most appealing fact about this phenomena is that
all it takes is a digital camera for anyone to possibly capture such

Throughout Edgar Allan Poe's life he was plagued with nightmares and the deaths of those he loved. Those nightmares and his tragic life were many times the basis for his stories and poems; often he found himself in the middle of those nightmares and stories as the victim or antagonist. "Nightmares from the Mind of Poe" brings to life those nightmares with Poe as part of the stories, as he dreamed and wrote them. In the movie, he struggles with nightmares, insomnia, sadness and despair in his own life as he creates his stories. The film brings to life four of the most well known tales from the master of suspense and horror - "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Cask of Amontillado", "The Premature Burial" and "The Raven"; all of which are word for word the way Poe wrote them, except "The Premature Burial" which was adapted from his narrative story. In "The Tell-Tale Heart", Poe takes us to the mind of a mad man as he struggles with the thoughts that caused him to do the unthinkable. "The Cask of Amontillado" is the story of ultimate revenge as Montresor punishes Fortunato for insulting him. In "The Premature Burial", Poe deals with one of his greatest fears... being buried alive. "The Raven" which was written through Poe's suffering for his dying wife, deals with the dread of death and "impending doom". In the end, Poe realizes that out of his nightmares and tragic life would come his legacy, his stories for future generations.
