Translated from the newspaper "El Norte" and Reporter/Writer: Luis Antonio Rivera

In Nuevo Leon, a top secret file was opened: "The Witch of Guadalupe."
The version of the witness, a municipal police officer, assures that the woman descended from the trees above when he patrolled the area. That the descension was slow, as if it was floating.
"She," as the witness describes, "Wore a black dress and had no eyelids to her eyes."
"It was a witch, and I saw her fly," assures Leonardo Samaniego Gallegos, of only 21 years of age and 8 month's of, ( police ), experience.
It was 3:15 in the early morning hours, on Alamo street, in the colony 'Valles de la Silla,' in Guadalupe, and the uniformed police officer began his escape in his patrol car when he noticed the woman approaching him at great speed.
"When the witch began to chase me, I had lost all back-up, ( by radio frequency ), that someone was coming, ( other patrol cars ), of emergency." Said the uniformed officer to reporters.
"She came down from within the trees, from a height of 6 meters...She stopped, ( paused ), and continued to descend slowly; I saw when she turned around, it was a complete black mass; and it turned completely, the light got covered which shown upon her eyes and she had them completely black without any eyelids."
"The situation," he added, made me faint."
"She got closer walking, ( towards me ), I placed the car in reverse gear...and she began to run, ( jog ), and I saw her fly," he explained.
"She crashed on the windshield of the patrol car looking in...I raised my arms and fainted."
The coordinator, ( police chief ), of the police of Guadalupe, Jes`us Garcia Krestsh, said that Samaneigo was submitted to drug and psychological examinations, to discard that he may suffer of hallucinations.
And then...What happened?

MEXICO: POLICEMAN REPORTS SEEING "TWO WITCHES"
***Although the sighting took place weeks ago, he made it known this morning***
Monterrey, Mexico (18 Sept 06) - A policeman from Santa Catarina claimed having seen two witches while on a routine patrol near a graveyard several months ago. He only made this information known today.
Gerardo Garza Carbajal explained his experience with the supernatural very near the Panteon Municipal, a few meters from the road to Villa Garcia. "It was nighttime, I stayed behind to stand guard on my own and suddenly someone started pelting me with stones. Then I saw two people with wings and wrinked faces."
"I was so scared that I got into my squad car. I could hear them laughing in an ugly way, flying a short distance. I thought they were witches--I saw them very close," said the officer, who has a long service record with the local police.
Garza Carbajal said that he immediately requested backup, and in a matter of minutes was surrounded by several municipal police cars even some from the Ministerial Police.
"The witches flew off, but the police officers who came to my aid saw what I saw. They can attest to the fact that I didn't imagine anything. What I saw was real. I'd never been so scared before," said the officer. He added that he was subsequently taken to a medical center, since his blood pressure dropped excessively. He soon recovered from the powerful shock.
Witnesses to this event stated that they do not know for sure if two witches were involved, but are indeed certain that they have no explanation for this phenomenon.

Mexico: An Alleged Flying Humanoid (2008)
By Ana Luisa Cid
Lic. Daniel Sanchez Rosales, a resident of Mexico City, recorded an unidentified flying object that he describes as having humanoid characteristics.
The video was taken on February 28 of this year in the Moctezuma district, no far from Mexico City International Airport, at 6:50 a.m.
It should be mentioned that the first one to see it was his nephew Quique (Erik) as left home toward his middle school. It was then that he woke his uncle Daniel and they observed the phenomenon through binoculars, at first. During this observation, the witnesses described it as "a flying humanoid" resembling an astronaut. They claimed that it was facing them and it seemed to survey its surroundings.
As part of this investigation, I visited the household and interviewed the witnesses. Both seemed like honest people to me, and are not looking for either fame or fortune, merely a chance to share their experience. Daniel Sanchez Rosales,36, is a graduate of the UNAM School of Law.
Research
After reviewing the video with filters, my conclusion is that it is authentic, but it is still necessary to determine the nature of what was recorded.
Objectively, we are aware that this could have an explanation: perhaps a balloon, but there are three aspects that draw our attention:
1. The recording has a 12-minute duation, and if we add to this the observation time through binoculars, the sighting was around 15 minutes, an uncommon period of time when we deal with balloons, as these are carried away by the wind, and it is hard to see them for an extended period of time.
2. At a given point in the video, the object or alleged humanoid makes descending movements, then remains static for a while and subsequently rises again. This ascending and descending isn't quite so common with balloon.
3. At two moments during the recording, the dogs' reaction can be heard. The appear to be keening or expressing fear. This does not occur when balloons are involved, unless it is a huge coincidence (the witness has 2 Labrador Retrievers).
The object remains close to an air corridor. The background information here is that researcher Alfonso Salazar had reported the presence of UFOs near MCIA.

THE WITCH OF GUADALUPE
In the early hours of January 16, 2004, Officer Leonardo Samaniego was doing his rounds in the municipality of Guadalupe, Nuevo León. Leonardo was turning on Alamo Street in his squad car when he saw a dark object fall from a tree and levitate above the ground. He switched on the emergency lights to see what was in front of him.
“It was a woman dressed in a black tunic and hat,” reports Leonardo. “She fell from the tree but didn’t touch the ground—she just floated. When I shined the lights on her, she turned and looked at me with an evil glare. She covered her eyes as if the light bothered her. She had dark skin, two huge black eyes without lashes, and was draped in a black cape and a hat. There wasn’t a broom or anything like that, but she flew and jumped on me! She was a witch!”
A few seconds later, the being jumped onto the car. Leonardo attempted to escape by putting the car in reverse before radioing the police station, asking for backup while the diabolic being clung to the windshield like a lamprey and tried to claw its way through the glass. Leonardo lost control, hit a fence, and was knocked unconscious. Soon after, ambulances arrived and police canvassed the area, believing some gang or delinquent had attacked him, but no evidence of this was found.
The media tagged the incident as the “Witch of Guadalupe” while an internal investigation was conducted. Leonardo was drug-tested and given a psychological evaluation, but the results revealed he was mentally sound and not under the influence of alcohol or narcotics. The secretary of public security concluded that the incident was real, and the case remains unsolved.
