Crossroads:
When I used to study witchcraft, I used to
love the simple little spells of asking "unnatural" spirits for advice or
answers to my questions. There was one spell that involved a crossroad, that you
would chant a prayer-ask your question, on the night of a Wednesday. I did that
spell once, and believe it or not--it worked! [most if not 99% of the ones I
did-did work]
After completing the spell that night, the next
day I headed towards the bus-stop for my adventures of the day. [which either
involved going to the beach, or meeting my then boyfriend-to go to the beach-
beach-bum was I. :O)] As I neared a crossroad parallel to the one I'd done the
spell with, around the corner appeared a man dressed in black, [which I found
weird on such a hot day, but paid him no mind], while passing me, he whispered
to me something and kept on walking. I turned the corner then and giggled that I
could meet such "weird people" all of the time--when it struck me that it was
the answer to the question I'd made just the night before.
I ran back, only minutes-not more than 3 had
passed from when we had passed eachother on the road--but he was no where in
sight, and with no where to go or hide--he had simply
"vanished."
Note:
Also, similar to this story, once I was in a
bookstore looking for paranormal readings, when a man "dressed in black"
appeared to me and handed a book to me saying, "This is the one you need to read
next." He then turned and left. I placed the book under my arm and paid the
situation no mind until I went to pay for the books I had picked. The book he
had handed to me was part two of my witchcraft book-and no where to be found in
that bookstore! I had practically given up finding that book. To make it even
freakier, the lady at the cash register, who has to acknowledge people who come
and go from the store--never saw such a man as I'd described to her enter or
leave.
The best part for last of course! I've found
that other women who deal with witchcraft, being Pagan or Wicca, all from
different parts of the world, have had the same, if not similar experience! Are
they "guides for witches?" No one knows the answer to that
one,
